The Torch Relay for the London 2012 Olympic Games in SERRES

The Greek leg of the Olympic Torch Relay for the Olympic Games "London 2012", was announced by the Hellenic Olympic Committee.

The Ceremony will be held in Ancient Olympia on May 10 at noon in the presence of IOC President Dr. Jacques Rogge. The Flame will be handed over to the British delegation on May 17 at 19:00 at the Panathenaic Stadium.

Προς: Συναδέλφισσες / ους Αγγλικών

     Η Ένωσή μας, σε συνεργασία με την Επίκουρο Καθηγήτρια του Αγγλικού Τμήματος της Φιλοσοφικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ. Κατερίνα Κίτση και ομάδα φοιτητών του τμήματος Αγγλικής Γλώσσας και Λογοτεχνίας, διοργανώνει λογοτεχνική ημερίδα για συναδέλφους Αγγλικών και βιωματικό θεατρικό εργαστήρι για μαθητές Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης με αφορμή τα 200 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του μεγάλου Άγγλου συγγραφέα Charles Dickens (1812-1870), που θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Σάββατο 29 Απριλίου ή 5 Μαΐου 2012 το πρωί σε σχολείο της Δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης της πόλης των Σερρών.

 Ο χώρος και η ημερομηνία θα εξαρτηθούν από την ημερομηνία διεξαγωγής των εθνικών εκλογών.

Η ημερίδα θα ξεκινήσει με την εισήγηση της Κας Κίτση για το έργο και την εποχή του Charles Dickens καθώς και την πρόσληψή του στα Ελληνικά Γράμματα, θα ακολουθήσει θεατρική απόδοση αποσπασμάτων του μυθιστορήματος “A Tale of Two Cities”(Μια Ιστορία 2 Πόλεων)και θα ολοκληρωθεί με βιωματικό Θεατρικό  workshop για μια ομάδα 20-25 μαθητών, με κεντρικό γνώμονα τις έννοιες της βίας, στέρησης, δικαιοσύνης, αδικίας, ελευθερίας, επανάστασης κλπ.

Για την έγκαιρη οργάνωση της ημερίδας ζητούμε από τους συναδέλφους καθηγητές Αγγλικών να δηλώσουν ενδιαφέρον συμμετοχής με ομάδα 2-5 μαθητών από το σχολείο τους ως τις 31 Μαρτίου 2012 με τις εξής προϋποθέσεις:

1)       Οι μαθητές πρέπει να φοιτούν στην Γ΄ Γυμνασίου ή Α΄ Λυκείου.

2)       Πρέπει να έχουν διδαχθεί ή να γνωρίζουν γενικά το ιστορικό πλαίσιο  της εποχής (Γαλλική Επανάσταση κλπ)

3)       Πρέπει να έχουν άμεσο ενδιαφέρον για τη λογοτεχνία και το θέατρο ώστε να ωφεληθούν όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερο από το βιωματικό εργαστήρι

4)       Να έχουν μια γενική ιδέα για το κεντρικό θέμα, τους χαρακτήρες και την πλοκή του έργου Μια Ιστορία 2 Πόλεων (A Tale of 2 Cities)  ή ιδανικά να έχουν διαβάσει το μυθιστόρημα.

5)       Σε συνεργασία με τους φοιτητές του τμήματος της Αγγλικής Φιλολογίας μεγάλο μέρος του διαλόγου μπορεί να διεξαχθεί στα Αγγλικά ώστε να υπάρξει ακόμη μεγαλύτερη διαθεματικότητα και εξάσκηση στην Αγγλική Γλώσσα.

Παρακαλούμε τους συναδέλφους Αγγλικών και τους Διευθυντές των σχολείων να μεριμνήσουν για την ενυπόγραφη ενημέρωση των γονέων/κηδεμόνων για την συμμετοχή των μαθητών στην ημερίδα, οι οποίοι θα είναι υπεύθυνοι και για την μεταφορά των μαθητών προς και από τον χώρο διεξαγωγής της ημερίδας.
